Fill out the free preliminary application, designed to quickly assess your qualification for our housing program. This step ensures that only qualified applicants proceed to further steps, preventing unnecessary background check fees for those who do not meet our criteria.

After passing the preliminary application, the next step involves paying a $50 application fee per adult and completing a more detailed application. This step includes a background check and income verification to thoroughly determine your eligibility for our housing program.

Once eligibility is confirmed, you'll work closely with a dedicated case manager to identify a rental property that meets your needs and preferences. Your case manager can help explore various options, including listings on platforms such as Zillow, to find the perfect home for you.

In this step, Stable Path Housing takes the lead by applying to rent the property you've selected. We secure the lease in our corporation's name, leveraging our credit and positive rental history to ensure approval.

Once the lease is secured, Stable Path Housing will sublease the property directly to you, the approved applicant. This final step completes the process, officially making you the tenant under a sublease agreement that allows you to reside in the property

OUR PROCESS

***Please note that Stable Path Housing has specific eligibility criteria that must be met in order to qualify for our housing program. Unfortunately, we are unable to approve applicants who are on the sex offenders list or have been convicted of a violent crime. Additionally, all applicants must be able to demonstrate strong income verification and have the financial capability to pay three months' rent upfront (first month's rent, last month's rent, and security deposit) to be considered for approval.
